We leave today! I can't believe today we're actually leaving! I'm really excited, but I think the excitement will really hit me when I get to the airport and see the team and their parents.
So, the plan is... get on the plane for Calgary, get into Calgary early afternoon. Then, we get to hang out in the airport for the rest of the day/night. Early Sunday morning, we leave for Dallas, hang out in the Dallas airport for a bit, then it's off to GUATEMALA City! So excited!!!
I have heard that there are computers in the building that we stay at in Tactic, Guatemala, so, I will be able to continue writing about our incredible adventure! Hopefully, I'll be able to post some pictures as well, so you can get a glimpse of what we are experiencing!

By now you'll be in Guatemala City. I've heard Guatemala is such a beautiful place. I wish we could be there with you. I imagine you're all very tired, excited and awestruck at this, the beginning of your adventure. I woke up at exactly 6 am this morning, your scheduled departure from Calgary. I spent time praying for your team between 6 and 7 am. I just want to remind each one of you that you are on a divine appointment, one in which you have a God-given opportunity to use your gifts and abilities to serve, minister to and encourage the Guatemalan people. You are a servant! Allow God to use you in the way He intended. God bless you, and we'll continue to pray for you daily.

God Bless you as you do the mission work with Impact Ministries. God will be working in your hearts as well as the wonderful people of G'Mal. Have some fun out there too,and make some memories to remember for a long time.
