We had a very eventful weekend with the team. On Saturday morning, the team, along with their parents, packed 17 hockey bags full of donations to take to Guatemala. It was a lot of fun, packing with everyone, (Or should I say "packing everyone in"... I took a picture of Jill, Lorissa & Sorena, zipped into 3 hockey bags! It's quite funny!) It's hard to believe that about a week and a half ago, Leila and I were wondering if we were going to have enough donations to bring with us. Then... donations poured in! Thank you! We packed 800 pounds of donations on Saturday!!! Wow! Another HUGE blessing.

On Sunday afternoon, we spent the afternoon cutting, cutting, and some more cutting. I think all of the team may have sore hands today because of yesterday. We cut out all the crafts (200 of each) for every VBS lesson that we have been preparing. We cut sheep ears, clouds, rainbows, arks, disciples, Jesus pictures, string, plates, and put books together. A lot of work, but it will be WELL worth it, when we get down to Guatemala!

After all the cutting and practising our lessons, the team headed over to Dairy Queen, to fill our bellies with yummy food! After lots of laughs, funny pictures, napkin eating contests, Chinese fire drills, a car wash and many other new memories made, we called it a night. I am SO excited about all the memories that we are going to make as a team, while in Guatemala!
WE LEAVE IN FOUR AND A HALF DAYS!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! It's getting to the point where I wake up, early in the morning, and can't get back to sleep because I'm so excited about the trip! Yeah!
